We met Ray and Claire when they moved in next door 11 years ago.Ray was always a source of helpful knowledge and could solve most problems. One of which was how to fix my rotary washing line to the edge of the patio, I think of him every time I use it now and thank him for being so inventive. He was never too busy to help, always ready for a chat and always had a project on the go.
It was a pleasure knowing Ray and an experience in itself ( a good one!). We will miss him greatly, it wont be the same when we are in the garden and there is no friendly banter from Ray.

One of life's characters.
A modest man with nothing to be modest about!

My uncle Ray
I never saw him much when I was younger as he lived and worked far away.
I do remember his Ford Capri and his fast driving!.
Sometimes he would stay with us if his work was our way.
He taught me how to shoot and skin rabbits.
I think he is cool, and he used to swear a lot too!
I will miss you lots
Terry xx
